We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our growing People  team. In this role, you will support a wide range of People functions, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and records management, ensuring smooth and efficient People operations. You will be the go-to person for employees with People-related administrative inquiries, helping to maintain a positive work environment. Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People department, including maintaining employee records, processing  documents, and handling routine inquiries.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork completion, and introduction to company policies and benefits.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs in the HRIS (Namely), including enrollment, changes, and answering employee questions.
  • Prepare and process payroll-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll submissions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job history, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and assist with the preparation of People reports and audits.
  • Help coordinate and schedule employee training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.
  • Organize and assist with company culture and engagement activities, such as employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives.
  • Enter and update employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Namely and generate reports as needed.
  • Exit Process Coordination: Manage the exit process for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews, processing terminations, and ensuring the return of company property.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in HR.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the people function or administrative support, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working in a start-up/growth company is preferred
  • Familiarity with the HRIS system, Namely is a plus 
  • Having worked  in a company that has a global presence is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suites and comfort with learning new software and HR tools.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Customer-service orientation, with a strong commitment to providing a positive employee experience.
  • Experience in benefits administration and payroll processing, highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment, especially when handling complex or sensitive people issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across departments.
  • Familiarity with onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews.
