As an ML (Machine Learning) Scientist, you will help design and develop novel AI computer vision models across multiple industry verticals including solar, wind turbines, and commercial roofing. These models will be created using various sensor data ranging from RGB (Red, Green, Blue), thermal, and geospatial images collected from drones, fixed wing aircrafts, along with other image sources. Working collaboratively with product managers and backend engineers will be required to ensure the models are performing to the product specifications. 

Responsibilites:

• Programming/developing machine learning models using cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) 
• Assisting in programmatic deployments of these models into production.
• Collaborating and presenting models, results, and roadmapping ideas with other members of the machine learning team and other cross functional teams.
• Write documentation on how to run, test, and use the various models and other programs that you will develop.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineer, Statistics or Computer Science preferrred
• 2+ years experience with building computer vision models in a professional setting
• 2+ years specialization in deep learning based computer vision models
• 2+ years experience with Python, Pytorch, and AWS
• 2+ years experience with preparing dataset for deep learning based computer vision models
• 1+ years experience working with aerial imagery
• 1+ years experience working with geospatial data
• Experience with Metaflow and Pytorch Lighting
• Experience with collaborating with different teams to ensure models meet product specifications
